Simon Annan
Profile
Simon Annan is a doctoral student at Cranfield University, UK and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS), UK. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree in Strategic and Project Management from the Paris Graduate School of Management, France, Professional Diplomas in Procurement and Supply Chain Management from the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS), a Chartered Member of Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CMILT), UK and a certification as a Project Management Consultant and Fellow from Institute of Project Management Professionals, Ghana and has attained the Fellow status of Ghana Institute of Procurement and Supply.
Simon is a passionate Procurement and Supply Chain expert with over twenty years of experience spanning a variety of industries. He has held several senior management positions as Head of Procurement and Supply Chain Management with various organizations
Currently, Simon is the Procurement Consultant for the Public Financial Management Reform Project (PFMRP) under the Ministry of Finance (World Bank Financed Project) and the founder and CEO of SourceOne Management Services Limited.

Celestine Djane

Rev. Celestine Djane, FGIPS, MCIPS, is the Vice President of the Ghana Institute of Procurement and Supply (GIPS) and a seasoned procurement and supply chain leader with nearly two decades of experience across financial services, manufacturing, and international trade.
She previously served as Executive Secretary of the Institute, contributing to its institutional strengthening and professional advancement initiatives. In her current role, she provides governance oversight and strategic leadership in advancing professional standards, stakeholder engagement, and the credibility of the procurement and supply profession in Ghana.
In her corporate capacity, she serves as a Procurement Specialist at Bunge Loders Croklaan, supporting strategic procurement initiatives across Ghana and West Africa.
A Fellow of GIPS and a Fully Chartered Member of CIPS-UK, she is also a Member of the Institute of Directors. Her professional focus includes procurement governance, ethical and ESG-aligned systems, and strengthening institutional frameworks that promote transparency, accountability, and sustainable development.
She holds an MSc in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, as well as degrees in Business Administration and Law.

My name is Elizabeth Asamaniwaa Odei, a professional buyer and Chartered Member of the Institute of Procurement and Supply (UK) and Ghana Institute of Procurement and Supply. (MGIPS, MCIPS)
She also holds Master’s degree in project management, from the University of Ghana Business and currently pursuing Project Management certification with Project Management Institute, U.S.A
Madam Elizabeth has over fifteen years post qualification experience in supply chain industry in both the private and public sectors. She is currently with the National Health Insurance Authority as a senior procurement manager that handles all procurement activities to support achievement of organizational goals.
Furthermore, she was recently elected financial secretary of the Ghana Institute of Procurement and Supply for a three years term of office.
She is a hard-working and enthusiastic person, self-motivated, reliable, and responsible. She is a mature team worker and adaptable to all challenging situations. She can work well both in a team environment as well as using own initiative. She can work well under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines.

Charles Boison
Profile
Charles Mensah Boison is an accomplished procurement and supply chain professional with almost a decade of progressive experience in public sector procurement and supply management. He holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Procurement and Supply Management from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Procurement and Supply Management from University of Education, Winneba, and a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Purchasing and Supply from Kumasi Technical University.
He is a certified professional member of both the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS-UK) and the Ghana Institute of Procurement and Supply (MGIPS), reflecting his strong commitment to professionalism, ethical practice, and continuous development in procurement.
Charles currently serves as the Head of the Procurement Unit at the Asante Akim Central Municipal Assembly, where he provides strategic leadership in public procurement planning, contract administration, compliance with procurement laws, and value-for-money assurance. His work supports effective service delivery and prudent use of public resources.
Beyond core procurement functions, Charles has demonstrated strong competence in events management and organisational coordination, having successfully supported and led programmes within both professional associations and general group settings. He is recognized for his organisational skills, attention to detail, stakeholder engagement, and ability to deliver results in structured and high-pressure environments.

Felix Darko Robertson
Profile
Felix Darko-Robertson is a seasoned, multi-disciplinary business leader with over 15 years of post-degree experience spanning procurement and supply chain management, banking, credit management, sales, and business development. He has held senior roles including Loan Officer, Relationship Manager, Credit Manager, Head of Procurement, and Head of Supply Chain, bringing strong commercial, financial, and governance insight to Board deliberations.
He holds an MSc in Procurement and Supply Chain Management from the University of Ghana Business School, is CIPS Level 5 certified, and earned an MBA from Accra Business School (now University of Gold Coast), in addition to a BSc in Management Studies from the University of Cape Coast. Felix is currently pursuing an LLB at KAAF University, with aspirations to qualify as a legal practitioner.
A proponent of data-driven decision-making, he holds an MIT certificate in Making Data-Driven Decisions and has undertaken multiple data analytics trainings. He currently serves as Head of Procurement and Supply Chain at GTI Holding, Accra, where he drives value for money, operational efficiency, and supply chain excellence.

Joan Asantewaa Affum

Joan Asantewaa Affum is an accomplished Banker and Procurement and Supply Professional with over 15years of progressive experience spanning banking, customer relations, operations management, institutional communications and public relations. She currently serves as the Operations Manager and Communications/PRO Lead at the Ghana Institute of Procurement and Supply (GIPS), where she plays a key role in driving operational efficiency, stakeholder engagement and strategic execution.
In her role at GIPS, Joan leads and coordinates daily operational activities, ensures the optimal use of institutional resources and oversees service delivery standards across the Institute. She is also responsible for managing GIPS’ communications and public relations functions, including oversight of official digital and social media platforms, brand consistency, stakeholder messaging, media engagement and timely, professional responses to public and stakeholder enquiries. She provides critical support to Management in executing the Institute’s Vision, Mission and Strategic Objectives.
Prior to joining GIPS, Joan built a strong career in the banking sector, serving in various capacities at Republic Bank, Fidelity Bank, UMB Bank, Beige Capital, Heritage Bank and many others including Relationship Officer, Private Banking Officer, Teller and Customer Service Officer. Across these roles, she demonstrated excellence in customer acquisition, relationship management, credit marketing, loan portfolio management, and frontline service delivery. Her work consistently focused on improving customer experience, streamlining branch processes and maintaining loan portfolio performance within prescribed thresholds.
She is recognised for her attention to detail, people-centred approach and ability to balance strategic objectives with day-to-day operational demands.

Eric Selorm Akoto

Mr. Eric Selorm Akoto is a highly accomplished procurement and supply chain management executive with over eighteen (18) years of distinguished service within Ghana’s Local Government Service. He holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, and a Certificate in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Central University College, Accra. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS), United Kingdom, and the Ghana Institute of Procurement and Supply (GIPS).
Mr. Akoto currently serves as the Head of Procurement at the Greater Accra Regional Coordinating Council, where he provides high-level strategic and technical advisory services on procurement and stores management while leading the implementation of compliant, transparent, and efficient procurement systems. He has served in key procurement roles at the Tema Metropolitan Assembly, the Volta Regional Coordinating Council, and the Greater Accra Regional Coordinating Council, contributing significantly to procurement governance, contract management, and value-for-money public service delivery.
He has strong expertise in monitoring and evaluation of Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) performance, supporting performance monitoring frameworks, compliance assessments, and institutional performance improvement initiatives that enhance evidence-based decision-making within the local governance system.
Mr. Akoto provides expert advisory support to the Entity Tender Committees of Adabraka Polyclinic, Accra Psychiatric Hospital, and Sege Polyclinic in the Greater Accra Region, strengthening procurement governance and regulatory compliance within the health sector.
He is also the Chief Executive Officer of ERICET-HEE Consultancy, a specialist firm providing professional services in contract administration, procurement and supply chain management, logistics, and related advisory services to public and private sector institutions.
Mr. Akoto has contributed significantly to professional capacity development across Africa, facilitating procurement and supply chain training programmes in Ghana, The Gambia, Kenya, and Sierra Leone, and collaborating with reputable consulting firms including M/S Ramsys Consult and Dot One Consult.
His election as Executive Secretary of the Ghana Institute of Procurement and Supply (GIPS) reflects his strong leadership credentials, professional integrity, and commitment to advancing procurement professionalism, institutional capacity, and policy advocacy within Ghana and the sub-region. Samuel is an accomplished Procurement and Supply Chain professional with over 15 years of experience leading strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and end-to-end supply chain operations across the financial, INGO, logistics, and education sectors.
He has been instrumental in establishing procurement functions and spearheading major IT procurement transformation projects within the banking sector and at Last Mile Health, where he currently serves as Global Supply Chain Operations Manager, overseeing multi-category spend across Africa.
A Chartered Member of CIPS (MCIPS) and GIPS (MGIPS), as well as an ISO 27001 Certified Lead Implementer, Samuel blends technical expertise with strategic insight to drive efficiency, risk management, sustainability, and supplier diversity.
Recognized as the Emerging Male Procurement Professional of the Year in Africa, he is also a thought leader on emerging trends such as AI and the future of procurement and supply chains.
