It is a central organisation for procurement and supply professionals, practitioners, and students to ensure the welfare, advancement, and high ethical standards and integrity of procurement and supply in Ghana.

In pursuing this mission, the GIPS developed a standard code of ethics for its members. This Code of Ethics establishes the ethical requirements and behaviors that GIPS members must always commit to upholding.

The conduct of members will be judged against this code. Any breach may lead to action under the disciplinary rules in the Institute’s constitutions.
